Imagery

The aerial imagery in Emap offers 99.5% coverage (by population) in New Zealand. Images are 'orthorectified', meaning they are true and accurate for measurement purposes. CoreLogic NZ has a dedicated team of imagery experts, who create, acquire and prepare imagery for consumption using skills honed during half a century of combined industry experience. Comprehensive metadata is provided so you can be sure of the Imagery's origins and accuracy.

The 'Aerial' layer in eMap is made up of CoreLogics Imagery Cache which contains our most recent aerial imagery. Emap has other rendered map layers and techniques to ensure there is a uniform look and feel, with no gaps. The imagery 'fades' in as the user zooms in to appropriate scales.
